Tower Captain hits Forty!
It seems to be the time for significant birthdays. A recent arrival at the "Big 4-0" milestone is Helen Knight, tower captain at Witton, who achieved the significant number on 4th December.
The event was celebrated by a Quarter Peal at Witton, with several Witton ringers taking part, aided by a few invited guests, including our own "Mr Stedman", Ian Taylor, who conducted. The Quarter was rung in 37.5 minutes, and we thought the tenor ringer was ringing down at one point!
